What's Next?
The Afghan ladies have returned home to their familes, work and their collective 450 employees, with SWAG, their Success Maps and 100 Day Plans in hand.
Laila, the Bpeace and WAW program manager in Kabul, will work with Marla the Bpeace program director in New York, and the mentors to accelerate their business capacity and demand for their products. The ladies will also start computer and English training, paying for 30% of the expenses with Bpeace paying the rest.
Bpeace is also raising the funds to: 1) put a business consultant on the ground in Kabul for 3-month assignment to further coach all 22 women in the Bpeace program; 2)set-up a Guild so that the women can purchase raw materials as a group and share the expenses of various business development services; 3)produce the training materials so that the women can train their employees and other women throughout Afghanistan.
