New Opportunities with New Tools
Bpeacer Cari Clement heads her own successful non-profit project--Rwanda Knits, a program that provides non-electric knitting machines, training and materials to Rwandan widows. Bpeace partners with Cari's program to provide business training and market opportunity for the completed products.
Cari demonstrated the knitting machines to the Afghan women in the hopes of interesting them in a pilot project in Kabul. Suria jumped right at the chance, and Bpeace is sending four of the machines over for the pilot.
